This week our classroom is participating in the Artists in the Schools program. We are learning all about film making. Each day we spend about 30 minutes with two film makers learning about acting, directing, and filming. Here are some pictures from our first two sessions:
On our first day we learned all about the frame. We used paper frames to frame our subject. The directors told the actors what to do in the frame.
On our second day we learned about 5 different kinds of shots - the close-up, the extreme close-up, the long shot, the wide shot and the medium shot.
