This week I bought a new tool for our classroom - a Digital Voice Recorder. The recorder allows the kids to easily record themselves reading, singing, counting, or reflecting on thier learning. Many of the children have already learned to use the recorder independently. The recordings will enhance our learning portfolios. The kids have had a great time recording and listening to themselves read. Here is a sample of Amy reading Kevin Henkes' book "Sheila Rae the Brave".
